Hey and Happy Thursday!
I feel like I was just giggling about the Justin Timberlake "It's gonna be Maaaaay" reference about 5 minutes ago...now schools are out for the summer and it's practically the end of the month.
Such is life.
Are you thinking about starting a summer side hustle or boosting your income on the next few months? Recently on the blog, I covered 6 ways to make $100 a day.
#5 on the list is my favorite of course, but these are all super great (and proven) ideas to help get your creative wheels turning.
In other news, I'm working on redesigning the blog entirely and narrowing down some themes and my core focus for content moving forward. One of the biggest themes I want to focus on is living for now while effectively planning for the future and how you can use your finances to do this.
Also, I want to be talking about debt more in a way that I don't see others covering it.
Just need to find a cooler, more catchy way to phrase this but more to come soon!
I actually missed last month to record an episode for the My Debt Epiphany Audio show so I will definitely be getting caught up by doing an additional episode this summer.
In this month's short episode, though, I'm going to be sharing some basic updates, news about my work, and some other tips on managing your finances well for the remainder of the year.

βMoney Saving Tip
Have you ever tried cooking in bulk? It's not as difficult as it seems and you can freeze meals in advance to use on future busy days. Download this free freezer cooking guide for more info on freezer cooking and 10 weeknight meal recipes to try.
Have a pool? Consider renting out your yard this summer with Swimply (it's basically like Airbnb, but for pool owners. Speaking of Airbnb, you don't have to own a home or have a spare bedroom to make money as a host. Airbnb Experiences allows you to make money by hosting certain activities for travelers in your local area.

Hey, I hope you had a nice weekend. As many of you know, I value what you think and want to see on the blog and I truly feel most accomplished when I'm helping someone else improve their finances through my content. If you have a minute, there's a quick survey I'd love for you to take. What do you need help with and what do you want to know? Your input will help direct the type of topics I continue to cover on the blog and in videos. YES, I said videos. More on that soon! You can take the...
Hey and Happy Friday π I hope you're enjoying summer! Today I thought we'd chat a bit about something that's been on my mind lately: investing. I know, I know, you might be thinking, "I just don't have the extra cash right now," right? Interestingly, that might not be the main thing holding most people back. Often, it's not just about the moneyβit's about the stuff we don't know, the stuff that scares us, and the stuff we just don't understand. Then, there's the simple fact that many of us...
