Hey and Happy Friday 👋
I hope you're enjoying summer!
Today I thought we'd chat a bit about something that's been on my mind lately: investing. I know, I know, you might be thinking, "I just don't have the extra cash right now," right? Interestingly, that might not be the main thing holding most people back.
Often, it's not just about the money—it's about the stuff we don't know, the stuff that scares us, and the stuff we just don't understand.
Then, there's the simple fact that many of us just don't know where to start. I get a lot of questions regarding how to get started with investing. Or, people want me to explain the quick, boiled-down version of exactly what they need to do.
One of the best ways to start learning? Reading some solid, trusted investing books.
This week on the blog, I'm sharing The 12 Best Books For Investors so you'll want to check this one out. Even if you're not a typical reader, there are some amazing books on this list - many of which I've read and have helped me on my financial journey so much.
Books are super affordable too and you may even be able to grab these from your local library for free. If you prefer to listen to the book instead, there's likely an Audible version for many of these as well.
Either way, these books are life changing and will help you grasp basic investing concepts and narrow down next steps.
Still, have more general questions about investing? I'll be sharing more specific tips and some things I'm doing in my email next week!

Money Saving Tip
Have you enrolled in the Build a FULL Emergency Fund.. Fast Masterclass yet? If you've been wanting to build or rebuild your emergency fund, this class is a must! It's short, practical, and to the point so you can finally build the financial cushion you need as soon as possible.
Speaking of savings, where are you keeping your money? Consider parking your funds in a high-yield savings account like the Capital One Performance Savings Account, which pays a 4.15% APY. I have a few thousand saved in my account currently and am making $35+ per month in interest payments.

If you haven't tried any focus groups yet, it's never too late to get started. Focus groups allow you to get paid for your opinion and many of them can be done remotely. Respondent is one of my favorite sites for finding legitimate focus groups to participate in. My first focus group on Respondent paid me $500.
Check out this week’s options below and apply ASAP. *Note - You only get paid for the focus group if you get chosen to participate. But the more apps you put in, the better your chances are of getting picked and paid.
1. Earn $150 if you love restaurants - Sign Up
2. Earn $100 if you own a fridge - Sign Up
3. Earn $55 if you play an instrument - Sign Up
To view more paid focus group opportunities and apply to join, create a free account on Respondent and check it regularly. You can send up to 10 apps per day. Feel free to check out other focus group sites as well. I have a whole list here.

Your input will help direct the type of topics I continue to cover on the blog and in videos. YES, I said videos. More on that soon! You can take the...

Hey there, I hope you're having a great week. Have you ever thought about how nice it would be to double your money? I'm talking about turning $100 into $200. Or $2,000 into $4,000. Or, how about even turning $50,000 into $100,000?! Yes, it's possible and I'm 100% serious.
