Let's Talk About Doubling Your Money

Hey there,

I hope you're having a great week. Have you ever thought about how nice it would be to double your money? I'm talking about turning $100 into $200.

Or $2,000 into $4,000. Or, how about even turning $50,000 into $100,000?!

Yes, it's possible and I'm 100% serious. You may or may not like this answer, but it's an honest one:

One of the best ways to double your money is by investing early and often. Or, just investing early enough and letting time do it's thing. This isn't the most exciting solution, but it works time and time again.

Sure, you could start a business, come up with this awesome idea for passive income, or get lucky and go viral on Tiktok.

But let's also consider what everyday people have been doing for the past 100 years and beyond - before all the TikTok dances and viral video trends.

In one of my recent posts on the blog, I discuss the wisest ways to use $50,000.

Now, if you don't have $50,000 on hand (don't worry), you will still benefit from reading this post because it's not always about how much you have, but what you do with it. I really enjoyed covering this topic and mention several super smart things to do with your money including showing an example of how to turn $50,000 into $100,000 by investing.

I know investing can be a tricky topic for some, but it's really not that confusing when you break it down, and I promise to do an episode on some simple, practical ways to start investing in this month's audio show episode if you're interested.

So enjoy, keep dreaming big, and making wise moves with your money!

I've been working part-time as a virtual assistant since 2015 and earn around $1,500 - $2,000 per month through work I do with 2 - 3 clients.

I consider my VA work pretty easy and a nice way to take a break from writing and brush up on other skills.

In this post, I'm sharing 10 creative services you can offer as a virtual assistant for $30+ per hour.

Money Saving Tip

Have you ever tried cooking in bulk? It's not as difficult as it seems and you can freeze meals in advance to use on future busy days. Download this free freezer cooking guide for more info on freezer cooking and 10 weeknight meal recipes to try.

Money Making Tip

Have a pool? Consider renting out your yard this summer with Swimply (it's basically like Airbnb, but for pool owners). Speaking of Airbnb, you don't have to own a home or have a spare bedroom to make money as a host. Airbnb Experiences allows you to make money by hosting certain activities for travelers in your local area.
